Broken Compass Lagniappe - Alone in the Dark

When you’re navigating with a Broken Compass, it’s no surprise when your boat runs ashore, or you end up in some distant troubling dreamscape. The Broken Compass is a collectible Lagniappe in Alone in the Dark that, when combined into a set of three, grants you some Forbidden Knowledge pertaining to interdimensional navigation.

Broken Compass Location

You’ll be able to grab the Broken Compass Lagniappe when you’re exploring the steamboat during Chapter 4. Simply make your way through the boat until you reach a staircase that goes both up and down (Image 1). Take the stairs down. When looking at the staircase, take the left path until you reach a red double-door (Image 2). Go through, and you’ll immediately find the Broken Compass sitting on top of a crate (Image 3).
