Subclass Details

A Level 3 Berserker Barbarian has access to the following features (in addition to their Barbarian features):

Subclass Features

  • Frenzy, Frenzied Strike, Enraged Throw

Berserker Progression

  • Level 3 – Frenzy, Frenzied Strike, Enraged Throw
  • Level 6 – Mindless Rage
  • Level 10 – Intimidating Presence

Tips & Strategies

  • Due to the way Frenzied Strike works, the Berserker is more suited to wielding large, heavy-hitting weapons despite the subclass icon featuring dual axes.
  • Keep in mind that if you reduce your Attack Bonus too much by performing too many Frenzied Strikes or Enraged Throws, you can always manually stop your Rage, and this will remove the Attack Bonus penalty.
  • Consider pairing your Berserker Barbarian with 3 levels of Rogue to unlock the Thief subclass that will grant you an extra Bonus Action, allowing you to use your Frenzied Strike or Enraged Throw actions twice per turn.
