Cyberpunk’s expansion, Phantom Liberty, has released and with it comes a whole host of new awesome iconic weapons and cyberware for V to pick up. While a vast majority of these armaments are only available in the Phantom Liberty expansion, there are also some new items that are in the base game thanks to update 2.0.
These lists cover some of their unique stats and characteristics, as well as their Base IDs in case you want to use console commands. (You would need an external mod like CyberEngineTweaks to enable these commands.)
If you are picking up Cyberpunk for the first time with this expansion, then you’ll definitely want to check out our Ranged Weapons Guide. It has a plethora of information on the different weapon types, different guns, and the original iconic weapons in the game. Likewise, If you are unfamiliar with the different systems of cyberware in the game, take a look at our Cyberware Guide. We even have one for Melee Weapons, too!
Iconic Guns
Update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty come with an impressive list of new Pistols, Revolvers, Rifles, SMGs, Snipers, Shotguns, and LMGs: we grouped them for you below. Many of these weapons are quite unique (try holding the Rosco Revolver or Sparky in your hands, for example), and some guns offer unique mechanics — Erebus dishes out instant kills on enemies with less than a third of their health, which would be fun to try out on a fresh playthrough.
You will be finding a lot of these during missions or gigs, but some sets are a bit unique, like the Phantom Liberty’s Techtronika Weapon Set: to get that one you need to watch our for Airdrops — supply points scattered all around Dogtown, marked by large columns of red smoke. We have dedicated guides for these sets to help you complete your collection, like our How to Get the Techtronika Weapon Set!

Iconic Melee Weapons
Cyberpunk’s new melee weapons come with a bit of a “dystopian future” feel, if that’s your kind of aesthetic. You might find some interesting effects on this list: note, for example, that the targeted damage of Bald Eagle (Power Revolver) is boosted significantly if you throw Fang (Knife) into an enemy’s leg before you shoot it with Bald Eagle.
If you aren’t a fan of complex rotations, there are still some slick and simple classic options on the list, like the Errata Katana, which deals Crit Damage to any Burning enemies — if you want help getting it, we have a How to Get the Errata Katana guide you should check out!
Cyberware was tweaked a little bit in Update 2.0, with a new capacity system and some wiggle room with unlockable extra slots. It’s worth noting that quite a few entries on the list are Operating System cyberware: and, no, you still get just the one slot, so you still have to choose between Sandevistan, Berserk, or a Cyberdeck. However, you might like the Militech Berserk for the damage boost on low health, and you can pick among the Sandevistan stat bundle options here depending on whether you care about landing headshots.
Militech Canto MK.6 is one of the options that requires a little bit more work — you would need to make correct choices in Phantom Liberty storyline and loot the right items during Somewhat Damaged, as well as pick this as a reward out of the two options you get (we cover this in How to Get Erebus and Militech Canto MK.6). However, for a Netrunner build, you might find the Blackwall Gateway quickhack worth the hassle.
