This trailer really is a showcase — it demonstrates just how far Cyberpunk 2077 has come from its 48-Minute Walkthrough demo from 2018, making players gasp at the views, impressive level of detail, and the futuristic Cyberpunk atmosphere even then.

Now, the beautiful setting of Cyberpunk 2077 will feature ray tracing with its iconic reflections, diffuse illumination, enhanced shadows, and ambient occlusion, enhanced with DLSS 2.0.

How about those massive skyscrapers, neon lights, and glowing reflections of Night City’s Watson channeled through with RTX on?

Answer is clear: absolutely gorgeous.

To be fair, Night City is breathtaking during the night time as it is. NVIDIA certainly chose their demo scenes wisely.

The trick now is to figure out whether your own PC will be able to handle this level of graphics, of course, but that’s how NVIDIA lures you in. NCIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series, *wink-wink.*

Some viewers correctly noticed that the trailer does not show the “RTX off” version of the gameplay, so it’s hard to judge how much the feature adds to the experience. Others in the comments expressed worries about their console experience or outright decided not to have ray tracing on if the overly shiny look and extra-wet puddles will take away from the realistic appearance of the futuristic city.

What are your thoughts on this? Does this raise the question of optimization and performance?
Do you think the game looks amazing even without the luxurious investment?
