How to Snag Your Free Cyberpunk 2077 Rewards and Digital Content

The release of Cyberpunk 2077 is now only a few days away, and if you haven’t already started making space on your hard drive for the now available preload, it’s time to do so. One other thing you can take care of while waiting for December 10th is to get ready to claim the digital items and in-game rewards available for CP2077 players with a GOG account.

There’s quite a few neat extras available with every physical or digital copy of Cyberpunk 2077. For starters, there’s the awesome original score, which features some fantastic ambient and action tracks. There’s also an art booklet, the digital comic Your Voice, wallpapers for mobile and desktop, and a Cyberpunk 2020 (the TTRPG the game is based on) sourcebook.

In addition to the digital items, there are also a few in-game rewards. Two in particular will delight Witcher fans: there’s a black leather jacket as well as a black T-Shirt, both sporting the Witcher logo. The rewards also include a GOG Galaxy t-shirt, the Black Unicorn sword, and a Shupe the Troll Plushy.

So how do you get all this stuff? The first thing you’ll need to do is create a GOG account on their website, if you don’t already have one. Once you’ve done that, the rest of the steps will have to wait until release day. For easy reference come release, here’s how to get your free Cyberpunk 2077 rewards, step by step, for each platform:

For Steam and Epic Games Users

  1. Don’t have a GOG account? Make one already, choomba! Any no-name Netrunner should be able to handle this step.
  2. Once the game is installed, log in to the REDlauncher using your GOG account (note that if you also want the Gwent rewards you’ll need to make sure you’re using the same GOG account you use for Gwent). Once you’ve logged into your GOG account, the digital goodies will be available for download via the Steam or Epic Games client, and in-game rewards will be sitting in your item stash in V’s apartment.
  3. For the Art Booklet and the Digital comic, you’ll use your Steam or Epic account to login to websites that have yet to be revealed, so watch this space.

For XBox, PlayStation, and Stadia Users

  1. Make a GOG account, if you don’t already have one.
  2. From the main menu, select “MY REWARDS” and log in to your GOG account (note that if you also want the Gwent rewards you’ll need to make sure you’re using the same GOG account you use for Gwent). Once you’ve logged into your GOG account, the digital goodies will be available for download via GOG Galaxy or from GOG.com client, and in-game rewards will be sitting in your item stash in V’s apartment.
  3. For the Art Booklet and the Digital comic, you’ll use your GOG account to login to websites that have yet to be revealed, so watch this space.

If you bought the game via GOG Galaxy, it’s very easy to claim the in-game rewards: they’re available once you’ve launched the game. The digital goodies will be downloadable from GOG.com or GOG Galaxy, and you’ll be able to grab the art and comic books using your GOG account.

CDProjekt Red has stated that there will be more rewards to come, so be on the lookout in your stash for new items — if you have to do anything to claim the rewards, we’ll be sure to let you know.
