Area Overview

Crow’s Nest is the district largely infested with undead. You’ll only get access to it once you reason with Nericon, the large tree in Mardaneus Plaza that strikes anyone it doesn’t like with lightning. It’s connected to Mardaneus Plaza (#MP) and also has a waypoint shrine (#W) like the other districts.

1 – Kenzo

Right at the beginning, you’ll see another scene with Kenzo, where he conspires with a guard, meaning that the whole undead breakout might have been an inside job. He’ll get killed, but the unknown guard will walk away before you can react.

2 – Servus and Alina’s House

You’ll find Alina in this house, who is the objective of the quest Damsel in Distress.

3 – Sewers

Inside the sewers, you’ll find the missing healers for the quest An Appetite for Murder. Besides that, after pulling a few levers hidden near the torches burning on the low ground, you’ll access a storage room with leggings from the Order of the Viper set.

4 – Henry and Eleanor’s House

This house is where you’ll find necklace that belongs to Ricky’s mother for the quest Reminiscence of the Past.

While you’re still in the house, explore the cellar if you wish by pressing a secret button near the candle in the room where you’ve found the amulet. It will open a secret area where the cellar entrance is. Down there, you can find another exit, leading to the locked area of the house (which can then be opened from the inside). It contains two golden chests with divine charms and jewelleries.

5 – Fortified Chest Key

You’ll find a hidden key lying near one of the wells over here. It opens a chest behind Henry and Eleanor’s house.

6 – Crowell’s House

This house is the objective for the quest Spectre at the Feast.

7 – Decimus’ House

You’ll visit this house during the quest Eternal Commitment.

Besides that, it’s the temporary lair of a bandit called Carmina who is the objective of another quest, A Hunting We Shall Go Once More.

8 – Nerus

Near the waypoint shrine, you’ll find the soldier that stroke down Kenzo near the beginning of Crow’s Nest. He’ll attempt to overpower you by summoning additional three Black Ring soldiers, but they should be no match for you whatsoever.

9 – Forgotten Crypt

When you wish to proceed with the main quest, head into the Forgotten Crypt to complete the quests Dead Rising and Nericon’s Wrath.

10 – House of Secrets

During your exploration of Crow’s Nest, you’ll come across this house where, judging by the pedestal inside, Bellegar passed by. Loot the first two keys from the chest at the beginning of the maze. If you look at the in-game map, you can see that some rooms are larger than a square (these contain chests with additional keys), so just try to stick to one direction. Besides that, you’ll come across colored keys as well (purple, green, blue or yellow) in the first room that you enter.

On the other side (to the far left on the map), you’ll find four treasure chests with good, but probably worse items than what you already have.

11 – Tom, Taurus

While exploring the Crow’s Nest, you’ll see a man being chased down by a guard named Taurus. You can stop the guard in order to start the quest Beauty and the Beast.

12 – Claire

You’ll find Claire pleading for help right outside her burning house. She gives the quest And It Burns, Burns, Burns.

13 – Wild Willows Manor

This asylum is the place where the quest A Hunting We Shall Go Once More. Besides that, you’ll also complete two mini-quests inside. Check out the designated page for more info.
