Dereliction of Duty – Dragon Age: Origins Quest

This guide will walk you through the “Dereliction of Duty” quest in Dragon Age: Origins. We will go through all the steps to complete this mission.

You can receive this quest from any of the Blackstone Irregulars boxes (in Lothering, Redcliffe, or the Denerim Market District).

Dereliction of Duty

For this quest you’ll need to track down three deserters and retrieve the Guild Supplies that they stole. The three deserters are:

• Layson. You’ll find him in a dirty hovel in Denerim’s Run-Down Back Street.
• Sammael. You’ll find him at the Lake Calenhad Docks.
• Tornas. You’ll find him at the Frostback Mountain Pass.

In each case, you’ll have to kill the deserter to get the supplies. After defeating all three, when you return to any of the Blackstone Irregulars liaisons (in Lothering, Redcliffe, or the Denerim Market District), you’ll receive 2 sovereigns and 175 xp.
