1 – Fleet Footed Ferret
2 – Silver Pitcher
3 – Bunny’s Beer Stall

Background

You’ll receive this quest from Innkeeper Pebblebush in the Fleet Footed Ferret in Ugdan Harbor (#1).

Walkthrough

Pebblebush will tell you that a customer named Regash recently built up a tab at the bar, and then left without paying. Pebblebush will ask you to “sort the fellow out and get my money back,” and he’ll suggest that you look for him in the Silver Pitcher in Praios Square (#2).

When you enter the Silver Pitcher, you’ll be passed by a red-headed dwarf on his way out, and when you talk to innkeeper Tradan Brewmore, you’ll quickly discover that the dwarf was none other than Regash the bill-dodger, who also ran up a tab with Brewmore. This discovery will net you 10 experience points.

Outside, you’ll find Regash at Bunny the Bar Wench’s beer stall (#3). He’ll be running up yet another tab. You’ll receive 15 experience points just for talking to him, and, through dialogue, you’ll find that you have two ways to complete the quest:

  • You can allow Regash to bribe you. He’ll offer you 3 thalers, but with enough prowess in Haggle or Intimidate, you’ll be able to get 3 ducats out of him. You’ll also earn 15 experience points when you deliver the bad news to Pebblebush (#1).

  • You can demand that Regash pay his bills. Regash will agree to do so, and then he’ll leave — but, surprisingly, he’ll keep his word. Then when you return to Pebblebush (#1), he’ll reward you with 3 ducats, and you’ll also receive 35 experience points.

Clearly, the best option is to force Regash to pay his bills.
