This guide provides a walkthrough for a side quest of Dungeon Siege III. Along with the walkthrough is a map and legend, which provides additional information.

Background

Ibsen asked you to look for a cave in the Kaari Pass. If you can clear the cave of its monstrous inhabitants, the old hermit is willing to reward you.

Walkthrough

You’ll receive this quest from Ibsen (#1) after completing the main quest In Search of Solitude.

Clear the Cave of Monsters

You’ll find the cave on the eastern side of the pass (#2). To clear it out, you’ll have to defeat the frost imp Prince Enjekki, plus a dakkenweyr and more.

Talk to Ibsen

When you return to Ibsen (#1), you’ll receive a Dryad’s Bane, a Frostspire Band, and 562 xp.
