Influence: Katarina – Dungeon Siege III

There are several places during the campaign where you can gain influence with Katarina if she’s your companion. Some of these places are listed below:


  • During the quest On the Road, when you run into Katarina, say “To make the clan stronger.”

  • At the start of the quest The Root of the Matter, when you meet Lord Devonsey, lie and say that you’re just simple travelers.

  • At the end of the quest The Root of the Matter, have Katarina with you when you leave the swamp.

  • At the start of the quest Supply Lines, ask Ursula “What’s the reward?”

  • At the end of the quest The Grand Chapterhouse, have Katarina with you when you reach the Causeway.

  • At the end of the quest The Grand Chapterhouse, say “The Meisters are stronger” rather than “The Queen’s more important.”

  • During the quest Majority Rules, when you address the Meisters, say “You need allies.”

  • During the quest Trouble in the Crypts, have Katarina with you when you defeat Ehregott.

  • At the end of the quest Stolen Shipments, ask Werner for a reward.

  • At the start of the quest Strike!, tell Rorik Kassel “Impressive” rather than “You’re arrogant.”

  • During the quest Strike!, have Katarina with you when you defeat Ergometheus.

  • At the end of the quest The Automaton Revolution, say “Explain yourself” and then “This changes things.”

  • At the end of the quest The Automaton Revolution, claim the Dapper Old Gent for the Legion.

  • During the quest Uncovering the Past, ask Maxwell for “whatever you can offer.”

  • During the quest Uncovering the Past, tell Pratz “You owe us.”

  • During the quest The Tumbledown Court, tell Ibsen “If I must” rather than “I’d rather not.”

  • At the end of the quest The Tumbledown Court, tell Queen Roslyn “It’s true” rather than “I’m not sure” or “Why didn’t I see you?”

  • At the end of the quest The Tumbledown Court, tell Queen Roslyn “You need our help” rather than “That’s a lie” or “Not this again.”

  • At the start of the quest Ebb and Flow, when Queen Roslyn asks you for your opinion about her plan, tell her “It’s a risk.”

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, tell Jeyne “You’re lying” rather than “I believe you.”

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, defeat the Warbeast with Katarina in your party.

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, after defeating the Warbeast, tell Queen Roslyn “Yes, I’ll try” rather than “No, I won’t.”

  • At the end of the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, say “Odo is right” rather than “Marten is right.”

  • At the end of the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, say “Use the Causeways” rather than “We’ll need an army” or “Let’s negotiate.”

  • During the quest On Holy Ground, when you meet Saraya (with Rajani), say “Get out of the way” rather than “What do you want?”

  • During the quest On Holy Ground, when you face Jeyne in the chancel, say “I could say the same” rather than “We have unfinished business” or “Surrender yourself.”

  • During the quest Rebirth, exit the Legion Chapterhouse with Katarina.

  • During the quest Rebirth, ask the Radiant Youth “Any helpful advice?”

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest Shared Destinies, tell Simeon “You were smart” rather than “You betrayed a friend.”

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest The Thief of Hearts, keep Sister Jenna’s secret.

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest A Saintly Relic, keep the Ring of St. Hiram for yourself.

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest The Agallan Vault, convince Sister Eleanor to join the Legion.
