Influence: Lucas – Dungeon Siege III

There are several places during the campaign where you can gain influence with Lucas if he’s your companion. Some of these places are listed below:


  • At the end of the quest The Battle for Raven’s Rill, allow Rajani to leave.

  • At the start of the quest On the Road, say “We need more legionnaires” rather than “Let’s go after Jeyne.”

  • At the start of the quest On the Road, when Odo mentions sticking a knife in Jeyne Kassynder’s eye, say “You’re wrong” rather than “I agree.”

  • During the quest On the Road, if you meet Lucas in the Bioluminescent Caves, tell him that the Legion should support the royalists.

  • At the start of the quest The Root of the Matter, when you meet Lord Devonsey, tell him that you’re with the Legion.

  • At the start of the quest The Root of the Matter, when you meet Lord Devonsey, say “Maybe we can negotiate” rather than “Let’s attack the village.”

  • During the quest The Root of the Matter, tell Devonsey “It’s all right” rather than “He’s naive.”

  • At the end of the quest The Root of the Matter, have Lucas with you when you leave the swamp.

  • At the end of the quest The Grand Chapterhouse, have Lucas with you when you reach the Causeway.

  • At the end of the quest The Grand Chapterhouse, when talking about Devonsey, say “We should recruit him” rather than “He abandoned us.”

  • During the quest Trouble in the Crypts, if you meet Lucas in the crypts, say “They were stolen” rather than “They might be useful.”

  • During the quest Trouble in the Crypts, have Lucas with you when you defeat Ehregott.

  • At the end of the quest Stolen Shipments, don’t ask Werner Schnaus for a reward.

  • During the quest Strike!, have Lucas with you when you defeat Ergometheus.

  • At the end of the quest Strike!, choose in favor of the ironmongers.

  • At the end of the quest The Automaton Rebellion, allow the Dapper Old Gent to be arrested.

  • At the end of the quest Majority Rules, tell the council “My actions are enough.”

  • During the quest Uncovering the Past, tell Maxwell “You owe us nothing.”

  • During the quest Uncovering the Past, tell Pratz “I’m pressing charges.”

  • During the quest The Tumbledown Court, tell Ibsen “I’d rather not” rather than “If I must.”

  • At the end of the quest The Tumbledown Court, tell Queen Roslyn “That’s a lie” rather than “You need our help” or “Not this again.”

  • At the start of the quest Ebb and Flow, when Queen Roslyn asks you for your opinion about her plan, tell her “Not very honorable.”

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, tell Jeyne “I believe you” rather than “You’re lying.”

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, defeat the Warbeast with Lucas in your party.

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, after defeating the Warbeast, tell Queen Roslyn “Tell me the truth” rather than “I don’t believe her” or “It doesn’t matter.”

  • During the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, after defeating the Warbeast, tell Queen Roslyn “No, I won’t” rather than “Yes, I’ll try.”

  • At the end of the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, when Odo asks you about the queen, say “Time will tell” rather than “Yes, she is” or “No, she’s weak.”

  • At the end of the quest Lord Devonsey’s Trap, say “Marten is right” rather than “Odo is right.”

  • During the quest On Holy Ground, when you meet Saraya (with Rajani), say “I won’t spare Jeyne.”

  • During the quest Rebirth, tell Marten “I understand” rather than “Don’t follow me.”

  • During the quest Rebirth, exit the Legion Chapterhouse with Lucas.

  • During the quest Rebirth, tell the Radiant Youth “We have no choice.”

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest Shared Destinies, tell Simeon “You betrayed a friend” rather than “You were smart.”

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest The Thief of Hearts, tell Brother Treasurer what Sister Jenna did.

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest A Saintly Relic, return the hand of St. Hiram to Brother Cornelius.

  • [TotS] At the end of the quest The Agallan Vault, convince Sister Eleanor to stay with the Church.
