Background

The royalists have retreated to the Glitterdelve Mine, where they are trapped by Jeyne Kassynder and her army. If Queen Roslyn is captured or killed, the people of western Ehb will surrender, and your war will be lost.

Walkthrough

Travel to Glitterdelve

For this objective, you’ll need to travel to Frostspire Mountain. You can reach it by going through the Causeway in the Grand Chapterhouse in Stonebridge City, and then by traveling south and west to reach the Glitterdelve Causeway (W).

Find the Royalists

As you explore Frostspire Mountain, you’ll get bombarded by Jeyne Kassynder’s artillery. There isn’t anything you can do to stop this bombardment, so you’ll just need to keep moving and try to dodge the explosions. Eventually, you’ll come to a royalist sapper (#5). He’ll ask you to collapse the rear entrance to the Glitterdelve Mine, and he’ll also give you the side quest Making an Entrance.

Find Ammunition

In order to collapse the rear entrance, you’ll need to find a cannonball for the nearby cannon (#6). You’ll find the cannonball in the encampment to the west (#7).

Collapse the Mine Entrance

Firing the cannon (#6) will collapse the mine entrance. Immediately afterwards, you’ll get attacked by a group of Azunite soldiers.

Travel into the Mountains

Shortly into the mountain, you’ll meet Ibsen (#9).

Help Ibsen

Ibsen will chastise you for destroying his “front door” (#8), and he’ll ask you to replace it. To do this, you’ll have to complete the main quest In Search of Solitude. Ibsen will also give you the side quest Untamed Mountain.

After helping Ibsen, he’ll show you how to make your way through the pass, which will remove the looping exit (Exit A) and allow you to make your way to the Glitterdelve Mine. Ibsen will also give you a second side quest, Ibsen’s Cave.

1 – Breakable Wall

2 – Cannon

Once you’ve picked up some cannon powder, you’ll be able to use this cannon to blast open the gate to the nearby encampment (#3). The cannon and the encampment are involved in the quest Making an Entrance.

3 – Captured Encampment

Inside the camp you’ll find three treasure chests plus the lore entry for Azunite Dispatch.

4 – Encampment

You’ll get the key to this encampment from the royalist sapper (#5). Inside, you’ll find two chests containing random loot plus the cannon powder required for the quest Making an Entrance.

5 – Royalist Sapper

The sapper will give you the quest Making an Entrance. He’ll also give you the key for two of the locked encampments (#4 and #7).

6 – Cannon

7 – Encampment

Inside this camp you’ll find two treasure chests containing a cannonball and more.

8 – Crystals

You won’t be able to break through these crystals until after you’ve fired the nearby cannon (#6).

9 – Ibsen

You won’t be allowed to loot the chest ($) next to Ibsen until you’ve completed the quest Untamed Mountain.

10 – Elder Frost Dakkenweyr

X – Save Point

$ – Treasure Container
