Elden Ring Patch 1.02.2 for PC is Now Available

Today’s Elden Ring for PC patch notes may not be extensive, but it looks to be a big one all the same. 1.02.2 is supposed to fix an issue in which the graphics card wasn’t being used, causing the game to run slowly. Many, many users have reported performance issues — the game’s mixed user reviews on Metacritic are largely because of these issues — and it seems likely that this patch should fix most of the problems with performance.

The patch also fixes a specific bug that caused the game to quit when fighting the Fire Giant, and fixes “Other bugs” — whatever they were. Let us know in the comments if your performance on PC has improved since the patch, and check out the (extremely brief) official patch notes below!
