You’ll receive this quest from Phillip in Bordertown, which is a part of the Barrier Range Region.

Walkthrough

Phillip (#1) will tell you that he used to run his boat between Bordertown and Aridell, but that things are far too dangerous now with all of the Fungal Slimes in the swamps to the east. If you offer to kill the slimes for him, then Phillip will agree to pay you for your work.

You’ll find the Fungal Slimes, about a dozen in total, in Northeast Thaermore (#2). After killing them, when you return to Phillip, he’ll reward you with 300 gp and 500 xp.
