Escape from Fathamurk – Eschalon: Book II Quest

In this guide we’ll show you how to complete the side quest Escape from Fathamurk.

Background

Fathamurk can be entered via the Farrock Caves, which are located in the Central Farrock Range. You’ll find the staircase leading down to Fathamurk on the western side of the Farrock Caves behind a wall. You’ll have to use a Powder Keg to blow a hole in the wall so you can access the staircase. Once you’ve proceeded far enough into Fathamurk, a gate will close behind you, locking you inside, and you’ll receive this quest.

Walkthrough

Fathamurk is a three-level dungeon. You’ll have to complete some tough fights to get through it — including a battle against a nasty Stone Golem at the end — but you’ll also find loads of treasure. In fact, you’ll find so much treasure that you should empty out your inventory as much as possible before going in. That’s because once you leave Fathamurk, you won’t be allowed to return, so you’ll want to be able to carry as much loot out with you as possible.
