You’ll receive this quest from Shepherd Nicholas in Moonrise (#1).

Walkthrough

Nicholas will tell you that there’s a spirit named Edgar haunting the abandoned village of Wanderer’s Glen to the east, and he’ll ask you to put him to rest. You’ll discover Wanderer’s Glen in the Valley of the Wanderer, with Edgar pacing around in a disturbed crypt on the western side of the village (#2). Edgar won’t attack you when you arrive. Instead, he’ll tell you the story of the bow Bittersting, which will trigger the quest The Curse of Bittersting. To put Edgar to rest, you’ll have to kill him, but it’s better (obviously) to complete his quest first.

After dealing with Edgar, when you return to Shepherd Nicholas, he’ll reward you with 1000 gp and 1500 xp.
