Latest ESO Beta Invitation

ESO beta invitation

Just a heads up for all you gamers who signed up to be a part of The Elder Scrolls Online beta test. According to the official Elder Scrolls Online website, a new ESO beta invitation was emailed to chosen participants yesterday, January 7.

If you’ve been selected, congratulations! Not only will be given the rare opportunity to play The Elder Scrolls Online prior to its 4/4/14 release date, you’ll have the chance to share valuable feedback with the game’s developers. Your role as a beta tester is important, and you’ll have a direct impact on helping The Elder Scrolls Online be the best MMORPG game the world has ever seen.

ESO Beta Invitation

If you applied for the beta, make sure to check the email that you used when registering. Also, don’t forget to check your spam filter on the off-chance that an ESO beta invitation was flagged as spam.

If you never participated in a beta test previously, you’ll be provided with a unique beta key that can be redeemed when you create a new ESO account. If you were lucky enough to be part of a prior beta test and already have an account, you can simply disregard the beta key provided in the invite and login to start your adventure in Tamriel.

ESO Nondisclosure Agreement

If you receive an ESO beta invitation, you’ll have to digitally sign a nondisclosure agreement in order to participate in the game. The Elder Scrolls Online is still in development and discretion is a must. The NDA is serious business, and players must remember these salient points:

  1. You can’t talk about anything you see in the game.
  2. You can’t write about anything you see in the game.
  3. You can’t even tell anyone that you’ve been chosen to be a beta tester.

If the NDA seems harsh, remember that it’s for the good of the game. You can read a more detailed explanation about the agreement here.

Final Thoughts

Bummed out that you didn’t receive the latest ESO beta invitation? Don’t be disappointed! According to the official website, more beta tests are in the works and you’ll have more opportunities to participate in the future. Also, if you haven’t signed up to be a beta tester yet, there’s still time to apply and you may do so here. Good luck!
