This is a gold quest that will become available in the map room of the Heroes’ Guild immediately following the tutorial quests.

Walkthrough

Your goal is to kill the wasps in the Picnic Area. If you don’t know how to reach the Picnic Area, then you’re in luck. Not only will you find blinking gold exit markers showing the way, but a man will run up to you once you’ve exited the Heroes’ Guild, and he’ll lead you to the area.

Wasps are only a little more difficult than beetles, and so you shouldn’t have much of a problem dispatching them. After you’ve killed the first batch of wasps, the wasp queen herself will arrive. The wasp queen isn’t all that powerful, either, but she can create more wasps, and so you should try and kill her as quickly as possible. Since the wasp queen flies, it’s sometimes difficult to judge if you’re in melee range of her, and so you might be better off using arrows or spells to kill her.

To complete the mission, simply kill all of the wasps including the wasp queen. For your reward, you’ll receive at least 500 gold and 200 renown, and you’ll also gain the wasp queen’s head trophy.
