Stables – Fallout 2 Location

In this guide we’ll show you everything there is to know about the Stables, the site where the Mordino family of New Vegas keeps their slaves and tests their drugs. You can also recruit Myron here.

Walkthrough

The Stables is a small area north of New Vegas. It’s where the Mordino family keeps their livestock — that is, their slaves — and where they develop and test new drugs, including Jet. You’ll only be able to find and visit the location if somebody tells you about it — such as Big Jesus Mordino for his first family quest in New Vegas.

The main thing to do in the Stables is recruit Myron. You’ll find him in the underground Lab, but he’ll be in a locked room with two guards out front. There are two ways to get past the guards:

• You can show them a Stables ID Badge. You can get one from the scientist Marjorie Reed on the western side of the Stables, either by stealing it from her or convincing her to give it to you (which requires you to be a charming male or have your Science skill above 75%).

• If you’re female with Charisma 6 or the Porn Star reputation, then you can tell the guards you have an appointment.

When you talk to Myron, ask him about the Mordinos. He’ll complain that they don’t respect him enough. This will allow you to invite him to your party. Recruiting Myron will earn you 750xp.
