Betheda Softworks vs. Interplay, Preliminary Injunction Denied

We haven’t heard much about Bethesda’s lawsuit against Interplay since mid-October, but now Ausir over at The Vault brings word that Bethesda’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Interplay (in order to halt development of Project V13 and sales of the Fallout Trilogy bundle pack) has been denied.

ORDER

For the reasons stated in open court, it is this 10th day of December, 2009, by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, ORDERED that:

1. Plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction (paper 3) BE, and the same hereby IS, DENIED for the reasons stated in court; and,
2. The clerk will transmit copies of this Order to counsel for the parties.

There’s still a long ways to go on this, but the scoreboard now reads: Interplay 1, Bethesda 0.
