Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich Reviews

Another pair of reviews for Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich have surfaced on the web over the past couple of days. The first is at FileFront with an overall score of 4/5:

Freedom Force Vs. the Third Reich is a great strategy game, a great RPG and most of all the best super hero game on the market.

Irrational Games has earned a lot of respect from me for producing this game. While the original did fairly well it probably didn’t make enough of a dent to warrant a sequel. Because of the loyal fan support and the teams love for the comic book setting they moved away from EA and decided to self publish this title. Despite the risk to the company this shows a dedication to the fans that is rare in the game industry right now. One multi-player mode that Freedom Force games desperately need is co-operative play. Players can easily manage four heroes but imaging the potential of staging your own multi-team cross over event or sharing the reigns during the standard campaign.

And the second is at Four Fat Chicks with no overall score:

Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich is most highly recommended as an essential purchase for your game library. It may not have the strategy depth of a Ghost Recon or the RPG nuances of Neverwinter Nights. What it does have is a style all its own, clearly making it not only one of the most creative and original games of this year, but also one of the best. From involving story to eye-popping graphics, very funny script, incredible characters, great voice acting, ultra-smooth gameplay, and an unusual range of extended play options, FFVTR brings it all together better than any PC game I’ve played in the past year. Get out there! Join the superheroes! Don’t let the Nazis take out Washington!
