Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update Revealed – Photo Mode, Talent Point Reset

It’s been a while since we last saw an update for Hogwarts Legacy, but it won’t be much longer at all, and the developers over at Avalanche Games are keen to share what they’ve been working on. The update, arriving on all platforms on June 6th, will come with a new photo mode, the ability to reset talent points, and quite a few other things, as well as releasing any Deluxe-Edition or Playstation Exclusive content for all players.

The update, announced on X with a post and attached infographic, will include the following brand new content for all players of Hogwarts Legacy:

  • A brand new “Photo Mode” so you can get the best possible pictures commemorating your time at Hogwarts and its surroundings.
  • The ability to reset (or respec) talent points, a long awaited feature that will finally let you try whatever builds you desire.
  • The Azkaban Prisoner’s outfit and coat. In case you really want that Sirius Black experience.
  • The Glasses that Lived, replica glasses for your character to remind you of a certain orphan you might know…
  • Lavender Borealis Broom, to fly in style

In addition, most of the content that was previously exclusive to the Deluxe or PlayStation versions of the game are now going to be available for everyone, including the following:

  • The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest, “Minding Your Own Business,” letting you own your own shop in Hogsmeade after dealing with its mysterious haunting (previously exclusive to PlayStation)
  • Felix Felicis Potion Recipe, a potion that you can use to more easily locate chests on your minimap (previously exclusive to the Deluxe Edition)
  • Onyx Hippogriff Gryphon, to embrace the dark side of your favorite flying mount.

And, with that, we now know everything that will be coming with the Summer Update to Hogwarts Legacy on June 6th! Being the first update in quite a while, and adding a few fun features (including a brand new photo mode, which has us excited), it’s a good time to fly back into the Wizarding World. If only there was a reverse time turner, so we could reach June 6th faster.
