Feros: Prothean Skyway Overview

You’ll be traveling through this map twice – once on your way to the ExoGeni headquarters and once on your way back to Zhu’s Hope. Expect heavy Geth resistance on both occasions.

1 – Arrival

When the elevator arrives, you’ll encounter a few colonists that are under attack by a Geth Assault Drone. Help them destroy the drone, then hop into the Mako patiently waiting for you down the ramp to the west.

If you’re returning to the elevator after finishing the ExoGeni headquarters, then you can expect a battle with several Thorian Creepers and the first four of sixteen total colonists here. Knock the colonists out with the Anti-Thorian Gas grenades if you want Paragon points or kill them if you want Renegade points.

2 – Geth Dropship

After passing through the door on your way north along the skyway, a Geth ship will fly in and drop a couple of Geth Armatures up ahead at area #3.

However, if you’ve already finished the ExoGeni headquarters and are on your way to the south back to Zhu’s Hope, then you’ll encounter your first Thorian Creeper here. These creatures were human once but have since succumbed to the infection being propagated by the Thorian. You can kill Thorian Creepers with impunity, but the remaining colonists should be spared (by using the Anti-Thorian Gas upgrade) if you’re looking for Paragon points. If you’d rather tally up some Renegade points, then fire at everything.

3 – Geth Resistance

In addition to the two Geth Armatures, you’ll also have to deal with two Geth Shock Troopers and a Geth Rocket Trooper in this area. Some “radio chatter” will begin coming across the Mako’s communication system around this area, as well. As you’ll soon discover, it’s coming from the encampment to the north.

4 – Geth Resistance

Taking advantage of the cover in this area are two Geth Rocket Troopers, a Geth Shock Trooper, and another Geth Armature. When they’ve been dealt with, go inside the recessed door just to the north to find a Geth Trooper guarding a locked crate and a Technician Kit. Kill and loot.

5 – Refugee Camp

The radio chatter you’ve been hearing has been originating from the area at the base of this ramp. Jump out of the Mako and descend the ramp to discover a camp of several refugees. There are three people of importance here – Ethan Jeong, Juliana Baynham, and Gavin Hossle.

Ethan only cares about ExoGeni’s profits and really doesn’t have anything of value to say. Juliana is the more level-headed refugee and actually seems glad to see you. In addition to answering several of your questions, she tells you that she was separated from her daughter during the Geth attack. If you happen to find her while exploring the ExoGeni headquarters, Juliana would be grateful for her daughter’s safe return.

Gavin is a freelancer that came to Feros in order to build highly sought-after prototype mods. The data he was working on is still at the ExoGeni headquarters, though, so he asks if you’d be willing to retrieve it for him. Accept and he’ll give you an OSD to copy the data to, which in turn triggers the “Feros: Data Recovery” assignment.

On your way back to Zhu’s Hope, you’ll hear more radio chatter between Juliana and Ethan. Lizbeth will hop out of the Mako and run down into the camp to make sure her mom is okay, so you’ll probably want to follow her. You’ll arrive just as Ethan starts flipping out and has one of his security guards restrain Juliana.

If you have a sufficient amount of Charm or Intimidate, you can convince Jeong to let her go without a fight (“What about the big picture?” or “I’ll kill you first.”). These options will also earn you Paragon or Renegade points. If you don’t have enough Charm or Intimidate, then you’ll have to go with “I’m ending this now!” or “They won’t miss you, either.” Either one results in Jeong’s death.

In any event, Juliana doesn’t think the colonists are going to let you near the Thorian. She suggests that you use a nerve agent to neutralize the colonists, and it just so happens that she has some Tetraclopine lying around for you to use. The nerve agent is placed in a grenade upgrade called Anti-Thorian Gas I, which you’ll need to add to your grenade launcher to make use of. If you’re going for Renegade points, though, don’t bother. Simply killing the colonists be more much more rewarding for Renegade players.

If you grabbed Gavin Hossle’s data from the ExoGeni facility, then you should also speak with him to finish the “Feros: Data Recovery” assignment before heading back to Zhu’s Hope. For your efforts, you’ll receive quite a few credits, some Omni-gel, and experience.

6 – Exit to ExoGeni Approach

Continue up this ramp to reach the Feros: ExoGeni Approach map.

7 – Geth Resistance

On your way back to Zhu’s Hope, you’ll run into two Geth Juggernauts and two Geth Armatures along this broken area of the skyway.
