Mavigon Overview

Mavigon is located in the Han system of the Gemini Sigma cluster. One of the two crimelords Helena Blake wants eliminated as part of the “UNC: Hostile Takeover” assignment can be found here.

1 – Arrival

Mavigon’s ridiculously cold temperatures serve as a Level 2 Hazard (even though it only shows as a Level 1 in the planet’s description) should you need to step foot out of the Mako.

2 – Crashed Probe

Yet another crashed space probe for you to bypass and plunder for its upgrades.

3 – Syndicate Hideout

The hideout at the top of this small mountain is guarded by three Alliance Heavy Turrets. Deal with them, then head inside to confront several Mercenaries, Mercenary Snipers, and a Crime Boss. When you’ve killed them all and subsequently dismantled their organization, you will be one step closer to finishing Helena Blake’s “UNC: Hostile Takeover” assignment. If this is the second crime boss you’ve defeated, you should continue on to the planet of Amaranthine in the Fortuna system of the Horse Head Nebula Cluster to claim your “reward.”

Once the hideout is free of all hostiles, search the entire map to turn up eight containers: 3 medical kits, a technician kit, a wetware kit, a secure crate, a malfunctioning object, and a medical station.

4 – Mummified Salarian

Search this corpse to find an identification tag belonging to Captain Stranaka, a Salarian soldier charged with hunting down the League of the One. This is one off three tags you need for the “UNC: Locate Signs of Battle” assignment.

5 – Gold Deposit

Survey this Gold deposit to get one step closer to finishing the “Heavy Metals” section of the “UNC: Valuable Minerals” assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.

6 – Cobalt Deposit

Survey this Cobalt deposit to get one step closer to finishing the “Light Metals” section of the “UNC: Valuable Minerals” assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.
