1971 Project Helios – Tactical Indie Strategy Game Due for Release April 2020

1971 Project Helios is a turn-based strategy game developed by Reco Technology, that combines modern warfare and close combat. In a place where vehicles are rare, and skirmishes and battles seem endless, only the cold is without side, without prejudice, without mercy.

Set in a bitter frozen world, 1971 Project Helios tells the tale of eight characters, each with their own drives and issues, forced in to an alliance so together they can find an important scientist, known as Dr Margaret Blythe.

As they search for her, they’ll fight shoulder to shoulder against raiders, they’ll investigate military HQ’s and infiltrate the territory of a dangerous anti-technological religious sect, becoming closer as soldiers-in-arms as they do. With a little strategic help and your decisions they’ll march towards one of three possible endings.

Key Features

  • Tactical combat against three different factions, each one with its own unique units, strategy, advantages and disadvantages such as soldiers, snipers, slippery bandits, knights or being immune to the cold. Study your foes and learn how to defeat them.
  • Explore a wide variety of locations from military outposts to medieval dungeons, each one strewn with new gear for your characters, and information about the world your in and the enemies you’re facing.
  • Unlock and upgrade your equipment and skills and combine them to make the perfect build for your strategy.
  • Find and use fulgor so you can defreeze your HP, decrease the cooldowns, and reanimate your fallen units.

1971 Project Helios is due for release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC Steam and Gog platforms, around April 2020.
