38 Studios’ Curt Schilling and the EDC’s Keith Stokes Sued by Rhode Island

In an attempt to get back the 75 million “hard-earned taxpayer dollars” that were invested in 38 Studios while the company was developing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Project Copernicus, the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation has sued company head Curt Schilling, former EDC executive director Keith Stokes, Wells Fargo Securities, and others for “Breach of Fiduciary Duty”, “Fraud”, “Fraudulent Misrepresentations and Omissions”, “Negligent Misrepresentation”, “Legal Malpractice”, “Negligence”, “Breach of Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing”, “Civil Damages”, and other such counts. The ugliness is all wrapped into the full PDF complaint on the RIEDC website, as well as a video address made by governor Lincoln Chafee on YouTube:
