Bastion Developer Announces Sci-fi Action-RPG Transistor

Supergiant Games, the developers behind Bastion, have announced that they’re currently working on a new action-RPG called Transistor, which seems to feature similar gameplay to Bastion, with a slightly different art style, and new protagonist (this time it’s a red-haired lady) and setting (sci-fi/cyberpunk this time around).

Hopefully we’ll get a bit more agency in terms of story and character system this time around, but if nothing else, the trailer makes it clear that we’re seeing art direction on par, if not better than Supergiant’s first title.

And who knows, maybe this title will be narrated too. Maybe by a synthesized computer voice.
