Beyond Divinity Peek of the Week #29

The twenty-ninth installment of RPGVault’s “Peek of the Week” feature for the upcoming Divine Divinity sequel is now available. This time, lead animator Marian Arnold reveals how he added some rather unusual arms to the RPG. An excerpt:

A few days ago, I read an interesting request in our forum about the fact that, since we will now have 3D characters in Beyond Divinity, we have the possibility to show more unusual weapons on the characters. The funny thing is that two days earlier, I had gone to Lar (the Project Leader for Beyond Divinity) asking him the very same thing. After explaining that it would take me very little time (at our current hot phase in the game’s development, we normally don’t have ANY time left…) to create texture variations. He agreed and I added some REAL weapons.
