Borderlands 2 PC Port Details Announced

The Gearbox Software team has let out some interesting details about the PC version of Borderlands 2 with the interesting choice of a Claptrap love letter which contains a lot of good news for people that were disappointed with the state of the original game’s port. Here’s the list of feature the folks at Gearbox have announced:

‘¢ FOV slider

‘¢ 100% mouse usable menus/mouse wheel scrolling

‘¢ PC specific UI

‘¢ Native multiplayer matchmaking

‘¢ Push to talk

‘¢ Logitech keyboard support

‘¢ LAN support (including offline mode)

‘¢ Control pad support

‘¢ Integrated V-Sync option

‘¢ Support for higher resolutions

‘¢ Mouse smoothing options (can be disabled completely)

‘¢ Cloud save support

‘¢ Achievement support

‘¢ Friend List support

‘¢ No port forwarding required

While it’s true that we used to get most of these features back in the day, they’re getting increasingly rare in PC ports, and it’s quite the welcome leap from Borderlands PC version.
