Chris Avellone Asks For Kickstarter Project Ideas

While there’s obviously nothing official yet, Chris Avellone certainly seems excited about Tim Schafer’s recent success with Kickstarter, enough at least to prompt him to ask people on his blog what kind of project they would like to see funded this way, should Obsidian decide to follow that route:

The idea of player-supported funding is… well, it’s proof certain genres aren’t dead and sequels may have more legs than they seem. And the idea of not having to argue that with a publisher is appealing.

Out of curiosity, if Obsidian did Kickstart a project, what would you want to see funded? (You can respond in comments or to @ChrisAvellone on Twitter, whichever you prefer.)

It would certainly be interesting to see whether other companies can follow the same model as Double Fine, and if Obsidian can, what they can actually produce when not constrained by having to make a triple-A title.
