City of Heroes Review

Another-Castle.net has tossed up a review of City of Heroes, and although they don’t give the superhero MMORPG an overall score, the review is positive overall. Their conclusion:

City of Heroes isn’t cheap – at $15US a month it’s one of the most expensive MMORPGs out there. Is it worth it? For my $60 Canadian and my $40 Time Card – over three months I’ve played nearly 200 hours worth. A little headmath puts that at $2 an hour. Would I deposit a toonie for every hour I’ve played? Are you kidding? Some of these hours have been GOLD. If you’re looking for a combat oriented game you can play with others, if you’ve got a superhero fetish, if you own more than 3 shirts with superhero symbols on them – you owe it to yourself to try out this game. Be a hero.
