Dead End Job is busting its way onto PC, and Consoles on 13th Dec

Friday 13th is generally associated with bad things; bad luck, serial slasher-killers and mischievious spirits to name a few, thankfully there is something this Dec 13th, that is guaranteed to lift everyone’s spirits, and that’s the release of Ant Workshop’s madcap twin-stick shooter Dead End Job which is making its way onto PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Dead End Job has been developed by the Lead Level Designer of Red Dead Redemption, and has been described as a curious mash-up of between Ren & Stimpy and The Ghostbusters. You’re put in the ethereal place of Hector Plasm, a low pay employee of the paranormal pest control experts, Ghoul-B-Gone. With little more than his trusty ghost bustin’ vacuum pack and ol’ plasma blaster it’s his job is to rid the town of a variety of wacky and meddlesome spirits.

If you’re a fan of 90’s cartoon’s, spirits or basically just getting things tidies, then you’ll probably love Dead End Job, as you blast through the procedurally generated world, sucking up spooks, ghosts, and ethereal pests, rescuing townsfolk and handing out those hefty invoices. All this ghost catching is done to the musical beats of award-winning composer Wil Morton, (Grand Theft Auto).
