Deus Ex: Human Revolution Fan-powered Q&A, Continued

With Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s release date drawing closer, the team at Eidos Montreal took some more time to answer fans’ questions on their Tumblr page. Here’s a couple of questions with their respective answers as a sampling:

The Great JF says:

The best way to judge it is to play the final product when it’s out because gameplay footages are not always presented the way they should and they can make your game look odd at times. That being said, when you have a huge game like ours, it’s hard to have every single part of the game to be more awesome than the next. So, quality might vary from time to time but I can ensure you that we really worked hard to make it as gorgeous as possible all the time!

I recall reading, or hearing from somewhere, that Adam doesn’t actually go to Hong Kong. Does he go to another asian city then? Tokyo perhaps? I ask because Hong Kong was one of my favorite sections from the first game, with all the exploration and hidden stuff that you could do and find there. If yes, will it also have similar explorability as well as a secret or two?

The Great JF says:

Well, if all secrets and hidden areas were a trademark of Hong Kong than 99% of videogames would be set there! (LOL!) Jokes aside, I really get your question don’t worry, it’s not because we’re not visiting Hong Kong that we don’t have other maps in that style with plenty of hidden stuff.
