Digimancy Entertainment – Project Canceled by Publisher

A while back, George Ziets of Mask of the Betrayer fame founded Digimancy Entertainment, a development studio with an RPG focus. Following that, we got word that his team has found a publisher for their yet to be announced game.

However, after some recent sleuthing from the RPG Codex suggesting that the project may have been canceled, George Ziets himself confirmed this in a quick post, while mentioning that despite some setbacks, they still have some things in the works.

Here’s the post in question:

Our game was indeed canceled by the publisher, and we had to let about half our team go. (Ugh.) Digimancy is still alive, though, and we’re talking to other potential partners… and continuing to work on our internal game. (My co-owner and I created a rough prototype back in 2019-2020 before we signed the publisher project.)
