Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Now Out on PC

For all its flaws (an empty world, disappointing quest design and gameplay that can be a tad repetitive in the long run), I feel like Dragon’s Dogma is a special kind of game, which blends eastern and western design and writing sensibilities to offer something completely unique although firmly rooted in tradition. I’ve been openly hoping for a sequel that offers better content to go with its system for quite a while, but for now I’m just glad that the game received a PC port, which has been released today on Steam for €29.99/$29.99/£23.99. The early reports seem to claim this is a good port, with a good number of graphic options and a decent mouse and keyboard control scheme (see the Total Biscuit port report I embedded below), but keep in mind that not all aspect ratios are supported and that a couple of armor sets had to be removed due to licensing restrictions:
