Dungeon of Elements Kickstarter

Dungeon of Elements developerI’ve just finished writing a post about one Kickstarter campaign and even while the virtual blog ink is still drying I got told of another one. This time it is for a new RPG game called Dungeon of Elements, developed by Frogdice Games. Dungeon of Elements looks to be the answer to the question “What do you get if you cross Tetris with a fantasy RPG. The blocks that fall seem to be your method of attacking the monsters within the Tetris grid.

It’s pretty difficult to explain, but if you look at the trailer below, then everything should start making a hell of a lot more sense.

The rest of Dungeon of Elements seems rather like a traditional RPG, you can craft items, weapons and armour. Gear up your character, as well as gain achievements and information on the denizens of all those dark and dank, cobweb-filled dungeons.

Dungeon of Elements CraftingIt’s about 90% sorted and they are looking to release this in July, but they need your help for that oh-so-important final polishing of the game as well as hiring a sound engineer to get all the music and sound effects in there. This is why Frogdice games have set up a Kickstarter campaign.

If you are interested in donating something to help, what looks to be a rather interesting hybrid game get released, then all you have to do is head over to the Dungeon of Elements Kickstarter campaign page (here) and open your wallet. .. well not just open it, you will have to give something as well, obviously.

If you want to find out a little more about Dungeon of Elements, have a little looksie at the official site.
