Elemental: War of Magic Reviews

Elemental: War of Magic continues to be patched up on a regular basis, but that hasn’t stopped the flow of mediocre reviews due to the game’s technical issues.

New Game Network gives it a 4.0/10:

Although my initial reactions to the game were very negative due to the glitches and since the game feels incomplete, after playing the game for a few hours, it started to grow on me a little bit. Even with the somewhat addicting civilization/character customization options, Elemental: War of Magic was lacking on too many fields of quality, with save states breaking during updates, cut scenes being choppy, and there being lag throughout the whole game, to even consider recommending this game to anyone. This game might be a good buy later on down the road after Stardock does some heavy patching, but for now, it’s as glitchy as they come.

While PC PC Games doesn’t provide a score:

The game does have some good aspects, like the ability to create your own custom units in-game. You can also create your own tiles, as well as some other VERY nifty tools and utilities for Modders. If you like 4X Games (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate), than you will LOVE Elemental. However, I will only say this You will LOVE Elemental even more if you wait about 3-6 months and let the game be patched up to what it was supposed to have been at release. THEN, and ONLY then, will you have a truly great and amazing game.
