Fable: The Journey Announced As “A Full Kinect Experience”

In another of those “we already reported about the rumor” moments, Fable: The Journey has just been announced by Peter Molyneux on stage in the Microsoft E3 conference. The game, which is the “next leap forward in the Fable franchise” is going to support Kinect for its controls, although not much about the title has been said beyond the usual Molyneux-esque PR speak.

The game appeared to be in first person, and the demoer drew shapes in the air to cast spells, while the character movements appeared to be on-rail. It’s far too early to say whether the game is going to feature RPG elements like its predecessors or not, as the presentation focused solely on showing a very scripted and action-packed sequence of events, in which the protagonist and a blind woman escaped some goblin-like creatures.
