Final Fantasy VII Remake Releasing Q1 2020

The remake of Final Fantasy VII, from its origins on the Playstation to the PS4, has been something that die-hard Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for, since mumblings of its development were heard a few years ago. The adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Barrett et al, are finally to be brought into the 21^st century, and will debut first on the Playstation 4, on 3^rd March 2020.

If you’re not familiar with it, I suggest you watch the below trailers, the first is the new trailer, and the second trailer is a comparion between the original PS1 version and the new PS4 version.

“Final Fantasy VII tells the story of a world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as mako energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic adventures that await him.”
