Goat of Duty Due for Early Access Release on July 10th

We’ve already brought you some great news about Goat of Duty, an FPS or rather FGS (First Goat Shooter) that puts you in control of a highly weaponized goat, whose soul purpose is to destroy all the other highly-weapons goats in the arena. Well, I’m now here to tell you that it is due for release on Steam Early Access for the PC on the 10th July.

Goat of Duty is a fast-paced and intense multiplayer FPS. There’s no fannying around storylines, metagames, characters, combos and skills. It’s simply about fiendish combat arena’s, powerful weaponry and a fair amount of gore liberally thrown around. Injected with wry humour, crazy goatstumes, and some wacky celebration dances you can perform over the twisted carcasses of your humiliated enemies.

The Goat of Duty Early Access will Include

  • 4 Game Modes: Free For All, Gun Deathmatch, Herd Wars and Fus Ro Arena.
  • 6 Different Maps
  • 7 Different Weapons
  • More than 25 Goatstumes based on your favourite pop culture icons, heroes and villains.
  • 10 localisation languages including (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Polish, and Turkish)

There is already a thriving Goat of Duty community, with more than 23000 goats on their discord channel (https://discordapp.com/invite/hqNEt7c) . The community has taken part in several closed beta’s and their feedback has helped to shape the game into what it is today.

“We’re looking forward to putting the game in our fans’ hooves”, said Ivano Zanchetta, Game Director at 34BigThings. “This period on Early Access is a great opportunity for the game to grow and evolve, and we couldn’t do so without the support of our community. Also, we had to open the bleating pens or these damned goats would have razed the place down anyway”.

Goat of Duty will be available on Steam Early Access from the 10th July, for $6.99. Head to the official Steam Early Page for more information.
