Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods v1.07 Patch Released

JoWooD has released the promised v1.07 patch for Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods, which introduces quite a few fixes to the notoriously buggy expansion pack. It sounds like you’ll need to reinstall and start a new game to take advantage of the fixes, though:

Liezen, Austria, December 23, 2008; JoWooD Productions just released the latest update for Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods. This patch fixes current problems, improves the overall stability of the game and heightens the gameing experience.

Before updating the game with the latest patch a re-installation of the game is recommended. All existing savegames have to be deleted and can not be used with the updated version.

QUESTS AND ENVIRONMENT

– Cannot find “Paladin General” for completing Lee quest
– Milten leaves the summoner’s cave; Nobody in Vengard throne room after kiling the beast.
– The pranksters are fighting each-other.
– The ork warriors from Cape Dun have their bodies doubled
– Urbanus artifact quest
– Orc camp appears only after Inog gives you the quest
– Menu disappears when roasting meat
– Paladin Helmet is still present in game
– Theodor Sack of wheat blocker
– Milten remain blocked in the woods
– Floating box in Vengard
– Floating oil lamps in Vengard
– Theo’s chest is properly placed
– Ogit leaves Montera
– Erthag and Ogit are walking trough the walls of a building.
– Hard coded english strings -now in the string table.
– Duplicate models removed
– Army of Gotha fighting among themselves.
– Erhag and Urbanus start fighting with each other
– NPCs fighting with each other during Hamlars escort mission

GENERAL

– Fixed Focus Names over 90%
– Text issues resolved over 90%
– German VO issues resolved over 90%
– NPC’s in a group will not fight each other
