Grip: Combat Racing Developer Confirms More Gameplay Features, Collector’s Edition and Soundtrack

Rollcage fans rejoice! Grip: Combat Racing developed by Caged Element is progressing along towards a retail release on November 6th 2018 with more reasons being announced almost every week as to why Rollcage and futuristic racing fans should buy the game at launch. For gamers not familiar with Grip: Combat Racing; players have the chance to accelerate at 767mph on not only the track surface, but also the walls and elevated above the ground within tunnels.

For gamers curious about the local and online multiplayer gameplay features, then you are in for a treat as Grip: Combat Racing includes split-screen competitive multiplayer for 2 to 4 players in both Race and Arena modes; 10 player online multiplayer with full lobby and matchmaking support; full tournament building support allowing racers to combine race modes and arenas to build bespoke playlists and competitions with friends; and online leaderboards for Carkour and Race modes. Meanwhile, a full single player campaign is included.

Alongside a standard edition retail release; Grip: Combat Racing’s publisher Wired Productions has confirmed a Collector’s Edition that is limited to only 300 for general sale. Grip’s Collector’s Edition comprises of Grip: Combat Racing on the available platform of your choice and a free Steam key; a double Vinyl, CD soundtrack and MP3 download key; 3 x 12” double-sided art prints; classic game manual and lorebook; 8GB Grip USB drive featuring an exclusive video from creators Rob Baker and Chris Mallinson; bonus downloadable content including Nyvoss Hex paint kit, Vortex Rims and vehicle decals; Grip sick bag; vehicle decal stickers; and numbered card of authenticity.

Grip: Combat Racing’s Collector’s Edition is available to purchase directly from Wired Productions official online store for a little over £75 on PS4, Xbox One and PC and Nintendo Switch.

Fans of drum and bass music accompanying futuristic racers will be pleased to hear that there is a 24 song soundtrack full of drum and bass music as presented by Hospital Records including Submerge by Battery x Makoto; Coyote by Krakota x Urbandawn; an instrumental of War Games by Inja x Pete Cannon; Citadels by Krakota; Diorama by Royalston; Restless by Rawtekk; Sunday Grunge by Whiney; Talisman by Whiney; Clap Track by Lynx; and much more besides.
