Guild Wars Preview

In case you haven’t logged into Guild Wars yet, Gamehelper is offering a three-page preview of the MMORPG to get you started. An excerpt to follow:

As for the basic gameplay, Guild Wars plays like your standard RPG, and is quite easy to master from the start. You can move your character by clicking an area or using the keyboard. The game can be seen in 3rd person or 1st person, whichever you chose, changing views by using the scroll wheel on the mouse. Click on an opponent and the character automatically attacks. In the case of my Elementalist, I had two other spells I could use outside the normal weapon (which is a Fire Staff in this case), allowing me to click their icons during combat. Perished enemies will drop items, and you can find other goods to sell in containers.
