Hard to be a God Developer Diary #2

RPG Vault has made a second developer diary for Burut’s Hard to be a God available, and this time it’s about weapons and armor.

[At] present, there are around 100 weapons in the game. They are divided into two broad categories, super-advanced and medieval. The former includes various contemporary and futuristic types – grenade launchers, rifles, scorchers (blasters) and advanced swords.

Medieval arms are the kinds used by the game’s local people; they may be are divided into four sub-types:
– Light weapons: single-wield (swords, axes and others) melee weapons and double weapons;
– Medium weapons: polearms and double-sided weapons – twin-blades, halberds;
– Heavy weapons: single-wield with a shield, and double-wield – axes, swords, poleaxes;
– Ranged weapons: bows and crossbows.
