Heiko Jacobs Interview

An interview with Heiko Jacobs, community manager for DAoC’s German servers, has surfaced over at the website ZOCKS. The interview is in English and talks about the game’s interface and general gameplay. Here’s a taste:

Q: Is there a difference in the magic of the races? Any special spells which you can describe us?

A: Yes, there are many different schools or paths of magic. There is magic that can be used by warrior classes, like the Champion or the Paladin. Also there are different kinds of schools for the different magic casters of the realms. Although all of the race and class magic schools are named differently, most of them are similar in regards to an equivalent class of another realm, so there will be no advantage for a certain realm, race or class.
