Helldivers 2 Weekly Report (3/16 to 3/22) – Terminid Control and Flying Bugs!

After numerous enormous successes against the Terminid threat, and a total stagnation of the Automaton menace, this war looks like it’ll be over by Liberty Day! Though our enemies are continuously evolving — most notably seen in the flying “Shrieker” Terminids — humanity, Super Earth, and their noble Helldivers are up to the task of keeping them at bay!

Galactic War Reports 3/16 – 3/22

Seen the Galactic War Reports below for a daily summary of the progress of the war between March 16th and March 22nd:

Campaign Summary

Both the Eastern and Western fronts have seen Helldiver progress recently, with more occuring in the Eastern theatre against the Terminids. Now that Super Earth forces have activated the Terminid Defense System on the Barrier worlds, there is little stopping us from reconquering the territories owed to us. Still, all Helldivers are on alert, as the battle is not won until the last flag is raised.

Automatons

After removing the Automatons from the Xzar Sector, the Automatons have pulled back to lick their wounds. While still in control of a number of planets, including the dreaded Malevelon Creek, there has been very little movement either way in the dreaded quagmire of the Western campaign.

Terminids

Helldivers began the week by cleansing the Barrier Planets in the Umlaut Sector of the Terminid Scourge forever, activating the Terminid Defense System in order to clear them out of their hiding holes and eliminate them forever (with both minimal and acceptable damage to local ecologies).

Now, Helldivers move in to Terminid Space to secure their biomass and planets, in order to render the bug threat inert as quickly as possible.
