Hero Online Q&A

MMORPGDot has posted a short Q&A with MGame’s Jack Stanley, in which they quiz the lead designer about the team’s upcoming fantasy MMORPG, Hero Online.

Q: How extensive and integral is the PvP element of the game? What does the game offer to players who prefer to not play PvP?

A: PvP is a large part of the game but I wouldn’t say its integral. You can have a fully complete and engrossing game experience and not PvP. If you enjoy PvP there is much here for you though. There is an entire zone called Mudo Island that is a PvP zone. Players there can sharpen their skills there among the best. The rest of the zones are considered safe zones unless another player puts a bounty on you. Players are then allowed to attack you almost anywhere to try and collect the bounty on your head. There are faction wars that are large scale enormous battles. There is also a duel feature for those players to practice their PvP skills without fear of reprisal.
