Introducing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

GameSpot has published the first part of a documentary on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which focuses on the circumstances that led to CD Projekt RED’s policy of offering free “feelies” to entice people to buy their products, and the starting hours of the game. The video lasts about 13 minutes and includes some footage of the game and some extracts from an interview with company’s co-founder and joint CEO Marcin IwiÅ„ski.

According to GameSpot’s Danny O’Dwyer, the game does a far better job at teaching mechanics and introducing new players to the world than any other title in the series, thanks to some mechanical tweaks, and a mini-sandbox starting area that introduces all the mechanical and story concepts in a more contained and controlled environment.
