    Q: We noticed how when the units began moving through forest areas, they slowed down. Will the units be reacting to other areas of the map?

    A: Every terrain in the game has movement and/or defensive modifiers associated with it. The forest for example, not only is harder to move through, slowing the units down, but provides more cover to units within it. This translates as a defensive bonus given to units stationed in the forest. Open grass is the base terrain where no modifiers are present, while all others affect your units in one way or another.
