Large Batch of World of Warcraft Reviews

With the release of World of Warcraft in Europe, several different websites are offering new reviews for the game. The first is at Boomtown with a perfect score of 10/10:

The reason is that I’ve graded admittedly good MMORPGs for 8-9 but this one has gotten more things right. There’s always a hesitation in giving something 10 since you are essentially saying that it’s perfect but as things stand now that’s exactly what World of Warcraft deserves.

The second is at Warcry with an overall score of 9.6/10:

The future of WoW looks promising with new developments in progress including PVP battlegrounds, and an honor-based reward system. WoW is still a new painting, having only been out a few months, but it already displays the characteristics of a masterpiece and continues to shatter sales records. If you have not already tried World of Warcraft, I highly recommend you do so. It is a real treat.

The third is at GameShark with a perfect score of 5/5:

This is a tremendous product. Wonderfully fun and thrilling, inspiring and energize, just a great amount of fun. Problems aside, I would recommend everyone go out and get their hands on this game. It’s worth the price of admission.

The fourth is at Gameplanet with a perfect score of 5/5:

Overall this is a fantastic game. Words like compelling, stunning, and where has the day gone only can hint how much we like it. For all its faults (ones we know will in time be fixed), this is a game that you must experience. The world of Warcraft beckons, and if you are a gamer you owe it to yourself to experience it.

The fifth is at GameAxis Online with an overall score of 9.2/10:

MMORPG players can be an impatient bunch and Blizzard’s ability to push out quality content in the following months will make or break the game. WoW had an impressive launch. But can it continue to attract players in years to come, to place it among the legacies of the big boys in the MMORPG genre, will depend on Blizzard’s dedication. WoW is golden, but will it remain shiny and polished for years to come in the extremely competitive MMORPG genre we can only keep our fingers crossed.
